about the project

If it weren’t for our own personal dedication to family, we would have never been inspired to start this project. Thanks mom & dad for showing us the way. xo

our process

An ode to family and the memories that made us  - we produce living records that honor life, and last lifetimes.

Preliminary Interview

We'll work together to compile interview questions. This helps us establish which stories have visual aids (photos, videos, objects) so we can leave a list to help you find everything before the interview day.

Set Design

Establish the interview location and begin rearranging furniture and objects (if permitted) to make a comfortable setting with optimal lighting for the subject to be interviewed.

Production

Our production crew will arrive two hours before the interview to re-establish the set, cameras, lights, audio and any other visual aids. The interview itself could take upwards of four hours. Once we’ve cycled through all the established question, we’ll film additional visual aids the family pulled together.

catering

We provide an arrangement of hors d’oeuvres and beverages for the family to graze on throughout the day.

Editing

In three weeks we will deliver a short story cut with the accompanying visuals, an edited cut of the entire interview, and the transcript. Expect weekly updates on progress from our editing team.

Delivery

We deliver the final product by hand on a hard drive and show the family how to access, share and view the videos. A cloud link will also be available for a year after delivery.
